How Waymesh would work

The intended workflow, in the order a workplace team would use it. Nothing here is running yet; this is the specification as it stands.

Design intent: fully specified, not yet built
  1. Step 01

Set up sites, routes and capacity

Record each site with its parking bays, EV charging bays and shuttle routes, and the capacity available on each. This is the shared basis every later step draws on.

  2. Step 02

Publish shuttle timetables with live seats

Timetables are published per route, and seat availability updates as people reserve and release places, so employees see what is actually free before they travel.

  3. Step 03

    Allocate parking and charging

Parking spaces are allocated by site with a waitlist when demand exceeds supply. EV charging bays are booked in the same flow and cross-referenced with the workplace booking system where relevant, so a bay is only held when someone is on site.

  4. Step 04

Match carpools by route and schedule

Employees travelling similar routes at similar times are matched, giving an alternative when parking is fully allocated.

  5. Step 05

    Report on commute modes

Shuttle, parking, carpool and charging activity roll up into commute-mode reporting that supports site planning and travel planning decisions.
